As National Preparedness Month draws to a close, Whitfield County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) and the Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC), including the North Georgia Health District, invite the public to Community Disaster Awareness Day at Home Depot at 875 Shugart Road in Dalton from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, October 1st.
