Public Health Weather-related Closures in North Georgia Health District 1-2 on Monday
Due to anticipated hazardous weather conditions across North Georgia, and out of an abundance of caution, all North Georgia Health District public health offices will be closed on Monday, January 26, 2026, to help ensure the safety of our staff and the communities we serve.
This closure includes:
- The North Georgia Health District office in Dalton
- All public health facilities and services in Cherokee, Fannin, Gilmer, Murray, Pickens, and Whitfield counties
- County health departments
- Environmental Health offices
- WIC services
- The Living Bridge Center clinics in Canton, Dalton, and Gainesville
All updates regarding our office closings or delayed openings will be posted to our district website at www.nghd.org.
