Get Vaccinated at the Gilmer County Health Department June 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th!

Ellijay, GA – Young people ages 12 to 18 are invited to come by a four-day Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic hosted by Gilmer County Health Department at 28 Southside Church Street in Ellijay. The clinic will be held:

        • Tuesday, June 1st, 7:30 AM to 6 PM
        • Wednesday, June 2nd, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM
        • Thursday, June 3rd, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM
        • Friday, June 4th, 7:30 AM to 12 PM

All minors must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to be vaccinated (click on the COVID-19 Vaccine Consent Form in English or in Spanish). COVID-19 vaccine is FREE. No Appointment is needed. No Identification required. Today is National “Wear your life jacket to work” day to promote water safety as we kick off the summer. As always, the Cherokee County Health Department is collaborating with SafeKids Cherokee to get this important message out to the community. Everyone 12 and older is eligible for COVID-19 Vaccine. Only Pfizer is authorized for children 12 through 17 with parental consent.

3rd Shots for people with certain immunocompromised conditions are available at our health departments, and so are Booster Shots for residents who are eligible.

No appointment is needed for any COVID-19 vaccination at county health department in Cherokee, Fannin, Gilmer, Murray, Pickens or Whitfield County. For health department locations, go HERE to our homepage and click on your county listed on that page at right.

North GA – No Appointment is needed for COVID-19 Vaccination in the North Georgia Health District at Public Health Departments in Cherokee, Fannin, Gilmer, Murray, Pickens and Whitfield counties. There is NO Cost to clients, regardless of healthcare coverage.*  No Identification is required.

Over 170,000 COVID-19 vaccinations have been provided by public health in the North Georgia Health District and the county health departments continue to urge residents to get vaccinated against COVID-19 right away, especially as the much more contagious Delta variant of the virus is rapidly spreading in our communities. North GA – May 11th Update: Georgians 12 and older are invited to a COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic hosted by Rock Bridge Community Church in both Dalton and Chatsworth! Come to either clinic site on Tuesday, May 11th from 4:30 PM to 8 PM for your vaccination. NO Appointment is needed. No ID required. COVID-19 Vaccine is FREE! Whitfield County Health Department will administer Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine at the Dalton clinic. Murray County Health Department will administer Moderna COVID-19 vaccine at the Chatsworth clinic. Children 12 and older are only permitted Pfizer vaccine and must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. The Rock Bridge Community Church COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic locations are 115 W. Crawford Street (Wink Theatre) in Dalton and 40 Bowtie Boulevard in Chatsworth. Come get vaccinated and protect yourself, your family, and your community from COVID-19!
