North Georgia Health District Re-Openings Update for Tuesday, Jan. 27:

Due to improved road conditions, the North Georgia Health District office and county public health facilities and services will resume normal operations on Tuesday, January 27.

Our counties include Cherokee, Fannin, Gilmer, Murray, Pickens, and Whitfield. The Pickens County Health Department will remain closed due to previously announced building issues; however, Pickens County residents may access services at our neighboring county health departments. For assistance, please call (706) 279-9600.

The Living Bridge Center clinic in Gainesville (Hall County) will operate on a delayed opening schedule and open at 10:00 AM.

While conditions have improved, we encourage everyone to use caution when traveling, as isolated patches of ice may still be present on roadways.
